The Dove Restaurant is one of the top restaurants in Orchard Park - just ask our regular customers. We combine our own family recipes with style and personal flair to create a unique experience every time you visit us. We strive to make each visit satisfying and memorable.
The Dove Restaurant has continually provided each of its guests with only the finest in Italian-Continental cuisine since 2003. The Dove specializes in creating a uniquely thoughtful atmosphere, which will not only excite one's tastes, but provide the perfect dining experience.
Our restaurant, which used to be The Pony Post back "in the day", is located near the borders of Orchard Park, West Seneca, Hamburg and Lackawanna, NY, and features dishes ranging from mouthwatering steaks, seafood, and chicken to an assortment of appetizers, pastas and fresh salads.
While everything on the Dove's delicious lunch and dinner menus are always cooked to perfection, there are a few standout dishes that can not go without special mention:
"Our 12oz. Prime Pork Chop" - grilled to perfection and topped off with a variety of sauces;
"Shrimp Scampi" - served in our unique style, with lemon and butter drizzled over the dish, and complimented with a side of pasta;
"Our Linguine Shrimp and Clams" - my personal favorite, can be served in either our homemade red or white sauce.
For those who have a sweet tooth, we offer homemade desserts like Italian style cheesecake, tiramisu and cannoli.
Our newest addition, which we are extremely proud of, is our extensive Gluten-Free menu. It is available for both lunch and dinner.
Dina Mattiello was born and raised in Long Island, NY, studied education at Ithaca College and found herself student teaching in Buffalo. Although Dina's true passion wasn't in teaching, she did love the WNY area, and decided to call it home. With the prodding of her father, who has been a chef for 45 years, Dina's passion was revealed.
Sherry Davies was born and raised in West Seneca, a 1984 graduate of West Seneca East. Sherry earned a bachelor's degree from Mansfield University, worked for 16 years in research, 9 of which were at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Although science was always an interest, owning a business was her dream.
Either of the two women will be the first to admit that they have very different personalities, both stating that they could never do what the other does. While Dina is the Dove's executive chef, Sherry tends bar on occasion and spends the rest of the time greeting and visiting with their guests. It is this teamwork, along with an amazing and professional staff, that makes the Dove Restaurant truly stand out as a diamond in the rough.
